Healthcare practices in Los Angeles pay $39.99 to $59.99 per user per month for our managed IT services. Every plan includes cybersecurity, and hands-on support is $150 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, whether we help remotely or in your office.

A worked example

Take a practice with two providers, four clinical staff, and two people at the front desk. That is eight users. On the Professional plan at $49.99, the monthly cost is about $400 before any support time.

Why most practices choose Professional or Enterprise

The Basic plan at $39.99 protects email and cloud accounts and trains your staff to spot phishing. It doesn’t cover the computers themselves. In a practice, patient information is opened on workstations in exam rooms and at the front desk all day, so those devices need protection too.

  • Professional ($49.99): Adds device monitoring, device backup, patch management, next-gen antivirus, ransomware detection, and endpoint detection and response.
  • Enterprise ($59.99): Adds 24/7 managed detection and response, so threats are watched for after the office closes.

What isn’t on the bill

There are no setup fees and no long-term contract. Plans run month to month. If an issue isn’t resolved, you aren’t charged for the time, and short fixes are billed in 15-minute increments instead of full hours.

What changes the price

Only your user count and your plan. When you add a provider or a staff member, you add one user, and that is the only change to your monthly fee.

Tell us how many providers and staff you have and which systems you use, and we’ll send a quote with the monthly figure spelled out.

We secure every place patient information is stored or opened, and we document those protections so you can show them in a HIPAA risk assessment or an audit.

HIPAA asks a practice for three kinds of safeguards. Technology covers one of them directly and supports the other two.

Technical safeguards, which we put in place

  • Email: Advanced email security filters out phishing and ransomware, the most common ways attackers reach patient data.
  • Workstations and laptops: Next-gen antivirus, endpoint detection and response, ransomware detection, and patching keep exam-room and front-desk computers protected.
  • Cloud accounts: Cloud detection and response flags unusual sign-ins to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
  • Access: Each person gets their own login and only the access their role needs. A password manager ends shared and reused passwords.
  • Backup: Cloud data and devices are backed up, with a recovery plan so you can keep seeing patients after an incident.

Administrative safeguards, which we support

Security awareness training and phishing simulations give you a record that your workforce has been trained. Dark web monitoring tells us if a staff login has been exposed. We also give you written documentation of your systems, which your risk assessment will ask for.

What stays with your practice

Policies, your designated privacy and security officers, and the risk assessment itself remain your responsibility. We supply the technical answers and evidence those documents need.

No IT company can make a practice “HIPAA compliant” on its own, and we’d be wary of anyone who promises that. What we do is close the technical gaps and keep them closed.

Device protection starts with the Professional plan. Enterprise adds 24/7 managed detection and response.

Yes. We keep the computers, network, and accounts your EHR and practice management software run on working properly, and we handle installs, updates, and user access. When a problem sits inside the software itself, we work with the vendor’s support team on your behalf, so your staff aren’t passed back and forth. Tell us which systems you use and we’ll confirm how we support them before you sign up.

Yes. We provide the technical findings and evidence both of them ask for, and we fix the gaps they uncover.

A HIPAA security risk assessment and a cyber insurance application ask many of the same questions: who can access patient data, how devices are protected, whether data is backed up, and whether staff are trained. Here is where we come in:

  • Before the assessment: Our audit reviews your devices, accounts, network, and backups and lists what is exposed.
  • During it: We answer the technical questions and supply documentation of your systems and safeguards.
  • Afterward: We work through the remediation list, starting with the highest risks.
  • For your insurer: We put in place the controls most applications require, including multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, backups, and security training, and help you complete the form accurately.

We also sign a Business Associate Agreement, since we work on systems that hold patient information.

We handle the technology side. For legal questions about HIPAA, you’ll still want your compliance advisor or attorney.

Our average response time is 14 minutes, and we resolve 85% of issues on the first call.

In a practice, downtime is measured in patients. If check-in, scheduling, or the EHR stops, appointments run late within minutes and the delay carries through the day. That is why we treat anything that stops patient flow as urgent.

What happens when you call:

  • Someone who knows your setup answers. Your systems are documented, so we don’t start from zero.
  • We connect remotely first. Most issues are fixed this way in minutes, without anyone leaving the front desk.
  • We send an engineer the same day when the problem is physical, such as a failed workstation, a printer, or network equipment.

Much of our work happens before you’d ever call. Monitoring and patching run in the background, and we schedule updates outside patient hours where possible.

Support is billed in 15-minute increments, and you aren’t charged if we don’t resolve the issue. Our clients rate 98.5% of tickets positively.

You can switch without closing for a day or cancelling appointments. We plan the move around your schedule and typically have security tools, monitoring, and documentation in place within 24 to 48 hours of our audit.

Before anything changes

We audit your systems first: workstations, network, accounts, backups, and how your EHR is accessed. Nothing is switched off during this step. You get a list of what we found and the order we suggest fixing it in.

The handover

We contact your current provider and collect admin passwords, license information, and documentation. If they have been slow to share those, that is common, and we handle the follow-up for you. Check your contract for a notice period, often 30 to 90 days, and we’ll time the transition to it.

Going live

  • Outside patient hours: Changes that could interrupt work are done early, late, or on a day you’re closed.
  • One location at a time: If you have several offices, we move them in sequence so the others keep running normally.
  • Staff know who to call: Everyone gets the new support contact before the switch, so there is no gap.

What it costs and what you keep

Onboarding is free, and plans are month to month. You receive full admin access and written documentation of your environment, so your practice is never dependent on us or locked out of its own systems.

Our five-year client retention rate is 97%. Tell us what has frustrated you about your current provider, and we’ll deal with those issues first.

Yes. When something needs hands-on work, an engineer comes to your Los Angeles office the same day, and onsite time costs the same as remote support: $150 per hour in 15-minute increments. Providers doing telehealth visits from home and billing staff working remotely are covered as well. Their laptops get the same monitoring and protection as the computers in your office, and they call the same help desk.
