As an IT services provider, we may access or process information held in a customer’s technology environment when that is necessary to deliver the services the customer has contracted for. Depending on the service, this can include information stored on computers, networks, servers, cloud platforms, email systems, security tools, and backup systems that we manage or support.
In those cases we act as a service provider to our customer. The customer decides why and how that information is collected and used, and our handling of it is governed by our agreement with the customer, which may include a data processing agreement or business associate agreement.
