Property management firms in Los Angeles pay $39.99 to $59.99 per user per month for our managed IT services, with cybersecurity included in every plan. Hands-on support is $150 per hour, billed in 15-minute increments, at the same rate onsite or remote.

Working out your number

Your cost depends on how many people need coverage, not on how many doors you manage. Start with a list of everyone who uses a company email account or a company computer:

  • Office staff: Property managers, accounting, and administration.
  • Leasing staff: People working from on-site offices.
  • Maintenance and field staff: Usually on a phone or tablet. Many firms put them on the Basic plan, since their main risk is email.

You can mix plans, so each person is on the level that fits their role.

The three plans

  • Basic, $39.99: Email security, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace backup, security training with phishing simulations, dark web monitoring, and a password manager.
  • Professional, $49.99: Adds device monitoring and backup, patch management, next-gen antivirus, ransomware detection, and endpoint detection and response. This is the right level for anyone who handles tenant applications or owner financials on a computer.
  • Enterprise, $59.99: Adds 24/7 managed detection and response.

For example

A firm with 10 office and leasing staff on Professional and 6 maintenance staff on Basic pays about $740 per month before support time.

The terms

There are no setup fees, and plans are month to month. If we don’t resolve an issue, the time isn’t billed. As your portfolio grows and you hire, you add users one at a time.

Send us your staff list by role, and we’ll return a quote with a plan suggested for each group.

We protect tenant and owner data by securing the accounts and computers it passes through, limiting who can open it, and backing it up. All of that is part of our plans, not an add-on.

A property management firm collects more sensitive information than most businesses its size. Here is what you hold and how we protect it.

Rental applications

Applications contain Social Security numbers, pay stubs, bank statements, and copies of ID. They often arrive by email and get saved to a shared folder. We filter the email, restrict that folder to the staff who process applications, and help you set a rule for how long those files are kept.

Tenant records and payments

Lease files and payment details usually live in your management software. We protect the logins with a password manager and multi-factor authentication, and we watch your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts for sign-ins that look wrong.

Owner financials

Statements, distributions, and tax documents are restricted to accounting and the managers responsible for each property.

The computers themselves

On the Professional plan and above, every computer has next-gen antivirus, ransomware detection, endpoint detection and response, and patching. A leasing office laptop gets the same protection as a desktop at headquarters.

Your staff

Security awareness training and phishing simulations teach your team to question a strange request. Dark web monitoring alerts us if a staff password is exposed.

Staff turnover

Leasing and maintenance roles change often. When someone leaves, we remove their access promptly, so a former employee can’t open tenant files.

If something does get through, cloud data and devices are backed up and there is a recovery plan. Enterprise adds 24/7 managed detection and response. We start with an audit that shows where tenant and owner data is exposed today.

Yes. We support your main office, every on-site leasing office, and staff who spend the day moving between properties, all under one agreement and one help desk.

On-site leasing offices

A leasing office is a small branch that often gets forgotten. It may have one or two computers, a printer, a consumer-grade router, and nobody technical nearby. We bring each one up to the same standard:

  • Network: A properly configured, monitored connection, with guest Wi-Fi kept separate from the computers that hold tenant data.
  • Devices: The same monitoring, patching, and protection as your headquarters.
  • Printing and scanning: Set up so leases and applications go where they should.

Maintenance and field staff

Technicians and inspectors mostly work from phones and tablets. We set up their accounts, secure their email, and make sure they can reach work orders and photos from the field. If a device is lost, access to company data can be shut off.

When something breaks at a property

Most issues are fixed remotely, which matters when the office is across town. Our average response time is 14 minutes. When the problem needs hands-on work, we dispatch an engineer in Los Angeles the same day, and onsite time costs the same as remote time.

Opening or taking over a property

When you add a building to your portfolio, tell us early. We’ll assess the leasing office, set up the network and devices, and create accounts so the on-site team can work from the first day.

One standard across the portfolio

Every site is documented the same way. Whoever answers your call can see how that particular office is set up, and you get one invoice instead of a different vendor at every property.

We secure the email accounts fraudsters try to break into, and we train your accounting and management staff to recognize the requests that lead to a bad payment.

Property managers move a lot of money to a lot of people, which makes them a target. The usual attempts look like this:

  • A “vendor” emails new bank details for their next invoice.
  • An “owner” asks for their distribution to go to a different account.
  • A “tenant” or “applicant” sends a link or attachment that steals a password.

Here is what we do about it:

  • Filter and flag: Advanced email security blocks phishing and marks messages from lookalike addresses.
  • Watch the accounts: Cloud detection and response alerts us to unusual sign-ins and suspicious forwarding rules.
  • Harden the logins: Multi-factor authentication and a password manager limit what a stolen password can do.
  • Train the team: Phishing simulations use the kinds of messages your staff really receive.

We also recommend one rule that costs nothing: never change payment details on the strength of an email. Confirm by phone, using a number you already had on file.

It’s manageable, and we do most of the work. After an audit, we typically have security tools, monitoring, and documentation in place within 24 to 48 hours.

With several locations, the order matters. This is how we usually run it:

  1. Start at the main office. We audit your systems and collect admin passwords, licenses, and documentation from your current provider.
  2. Protect the accounts. Email and cloud security are switched on for everyone at once, wherever they work.
  3. Visit or remotely assess each leasing office. We document what is there and bring each site up to standard in turn.
  4. Tackle the backlog. The recurring problems your staff have been putting up with are fixed first.

Your management software and email stay where they are, so tenants and owners shouldn’t notice any change.

You pay nothing for onboarding, plans run month to month, and the documentation and admin logins are yours to keep. Before giving notice, look at your current contract, because many require 30 to 90 days. Clients tend to stay once they’ve switched: our retention rate over five years is 97%.

Yes. Most property management software runs in a browser, so the usual problems are logins, permissions, browsers, printers, and scanners. We handle those, set up new users, and remove access when staff leave. When the fault is with the software itself, we contact the vendor for you. Tell us which system you use and we’ll confirm what we cover.

We respond in 14 minutes on average and resolve 85% of issues on the first call. That matters at the start of the month, when rent is posting and a stalled system means a line at the leasing office. Most fixes are remote. For hands-on work, an engineer is dispatched in Los Angeles the same day.
