Most Los Angeles nonprofits pay between $39.99 and $59.99 per person each month for managed IT services with us. Cybersecurity is part of every plan, so there’s no separate security line to budget for.

Three things set your monthly figure: the number of staff who need coverage, the plan you pick, and how much hands-on help you use. A nonprofit with 10 staff on the Professional plan pays about $500 a month. Hands-on support, whether we fix something remotely or come to your office, is $150 per hour, billed in 15-minute blocks.

Which plan fits a nonprofit?

  • Basic, $39.99: Suits organizations that mostly work in email and shared files. It covers email security, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace backup, staff security training with phishing tests, dark web monitoring, and a password manager.
  • Professional, $49.99: Our most popular plan, and the one we suggest if you keep donor or client records on staff computers. It adds device monitoring and backup, patching, next-gen antivirus, ransomware detection, and endpoint detection and response.
  • Enterprise, $59.99: Adds 24/7 managed detection and response for organizations that need someone watching for threats at all hours.

Costs you won’t see on our invoices

We don’t charge setup or onboarding fees, and there is no long-term contract, because every plan runs month to month. If we can’t fix an issue, that time isn’t billed. A quick fix is charged as 15 minutes and never rounded up to an hour.

That predictability matters when your budget is tied to grants and approved by a board. The per-person price stays the same all year, so the only thing that changes your bill is your headcount, and you only pay for the people you have.

Send us your staff count and we’ll put together a written quote you can share with your board or finance committee.

We protect donor and client data with security that comes with every plan, and we set it up around how a nonprofit really works: small teams, shared computers, volunteers, and people logging in from anywhere.

Donor information

Names, giving histories, and payment details usually sit in a donor database and in email. Advanced email security blocks the phishing messages that try to steal those logins, and cloud detection and response alerts us to sign-ins to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace that look wrong. A password manager replaces the shared spreadsheet of passwords many organizations still rely on.

Records of the people you serve

Case notes and intake forms can be the most sensitive information you hold. We limit access so staff and volunteers see only what their role requires, and we remove accounts promptly when a volunteer or an intern moves on. On the Professional plan and above, every computer has next-gen antivirus, ransomware detection, endpoint detection and response, and automatic patching.

Your people

Most breaches start with a person, not a machine. Security awareness training and phishing simulations show staff what a fake donation receipt or an urgent request from “the executive director” looks like. Dark web monitoring tells us if someone’s login has been exposed elsewhere.

Your ability to keep operating

We back up cloud data and devices and prepare a recovery plan, so an attack or a failed laptop doesn’t halt your programs or wipe out your records.

What this means for funders and your board

You’ll have written documentation of the protections in place, which helps when a grant application or an auditor asks how you safeguard data. You also keep full admin access to your own systems.

Enterprise adds 24/7 managed detection and response for organizations that need round-the-clock monitoring. We begin with an audit that shows where your data is exposed today, before you commit to anything.

Yes. Microsoft and Google both offer free or discounted licenses to eligible nonprofits, and many organizations either don’t claim them or pay for seats they don’t need. We help you apply, set up the accounts correctly, and review your licenses so you only pay for what your team uses. We also manage the day-to-day work that follows, including new users, permissions, and backups.

Yes. We put the technical safeguards in place and give you the documentation to show they exist, which is what funders, insurers, and auditors ask to see.

Nonprofits answer to more parties than most businesses. Grant applications ask how you protect data, payment processors set rules for handling donations, and cyber insurers ask for specific controls. We help with all three:

  • Funders and grants: Many grant applications and audits now ask about data security. We give you documented safeguards and plain-language answers you can include.
  • Donations and payments: If you take card payments, we help you keep the systems involved secure and in line with PCI requirements.
  • Cyber insurance: Most applications ask about multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, backups, and security training. We implement them and help you answer the questionnaire accurately.

If your programs involve health or other sensitive records, tell us, and we’ll build those requirements into your plan. We handle the technology, and we’re not a substitute for legal or compliance advice.

On average, we respond in 14 minutes. For 85% of requests, the first call is also the last one, because the issue gets fixed then and there.

Speed matters differently at a nonprofit. A frozen laptop on a normal Tuesday is an annoyance. The same problem on the morning of a gala, a grant deadline, or a day your doors are open to clients can cost you donations or leave people without help. So we work in this order:

  1. We try remote first. Connecting to the device is quicker than driving to it, and most issues are settled this way within minutes.
  2. We come to you the same day. If the fix needs someone in the room, an engineer is sent to your Los Angeles office that day.
  3. We prevent the repeat. Background monitoring and patching stop many problems before your staff ever see them.

Whoever picks up already has your systems documented in front of them, so your team doesn’t have to explain the setup each time. Billing is in 15-minute blocks, and unresolved issues aren’t charged. Clients give 98.5% of our tickets a positive rating.

It’s easier than most nonprofits expect, and we do the heavy lifting. Our security tools, monitoring, and documentation are usually running within 24 to 48 hours of the initial audit.

If a volunteer or staff member handles your IT today

This is the most common starting point we see. One person holds the passwords, knows which computer does what, and fixes things when they have time. We sit down with them, write everything down, and take over the day-to-day work so they can return to their actual job. They stay involved for as long as you want them to.

If you’re leaving another IT provider

We contact the outgoing company for you and collect admin logins, license details, and any documentation they hold. Look at your agreement first: many require 30 to 90 days’ notice, and we can line up the handover with that date.

What the first month looks like

  • Week one: We audit your technology, flag security gaps, and install protection and monitoring.
  • Weeks two to four: We build a plan around your programs, your software, and your budget, then fix the issues that have been slowing staff down.
  • After that: We keep watching and improving your systems as the organization changes.

Work is scheduled around your calendar so programs aren’t interrupted. You pay no onboarding fee, and you aren’t tied in, because plans are month to month. Everything we set up belongs to you, including full admin access and written documentation, so you could take it elsewhere at any time.

Few clients do. Our retention rate over five years is 97%. Tell us what isn’t working now, and those problems go to the top of our list.

We do both. For problems that need a person in the room, an engineer comes to your Los Angeles office the same day, at the same $150 hourly rate as remote help, billed in 15-minute blocks. Remote and field staff are covered too. Whether someone is at home, at a program site, or running check-in at an event, their laptop carries the same protection, and they call the same help desk.
